I’m Laura, your friendly neighborhood camera person. I’m going to be honest - there’s a lot about portrait photography I don’t like - but I want to change that.
After ten years of serving amazing clients, I found that a lot of them felt pressured by tradition and social media to take the same photos as everyone else. Where was the sincerity? And more importantly, where did their amazing, beautiful personalities shine through?
I decided that I want to change that by being the photographer I’d want to hire. With every session, I strive to show your uniqueness & capture the memories and feelings that are more important to you - the things that set you apart. Sure, we’ll make sure to get those classic “smiling at the camera” photos to make grandma happy, but then it’s time to let your true colors shine.
